Mr. Espinosa is from Quito, Ecuador and earned a bachelor’s degree in law and a doctor of law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. Having practiced law for the past 24 years in Ecuador, he is currently the managing partner at Forum Abogados. He works primarily in transactional practice, finance, securities, intellectual property, and cross border transaction. He served as the judge of the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Quito, the judge and defender of the Bond of the Canon Law Tribunal, the chief legal officer of two banks, and a professor of law. His goal is to become a justice of the National Court or the Constitutional Court, which are the highest courts of Ecuador.
