Our online law school programs prepare you with key litigation experience and expertise to better position yourself in a multitude of competitive industries, from business and finance to health care, government and nonprofit work. We offer two online law degrees: a Master of Legal Studies (MLS) and a Master of Laws (LL.M).

Upon enrollment, you’ll gain access to an online, self-paced foundation courses with modules, short video lectures and a job search tool to help you focus on everything from personal branding and interview preparation to professional networking and salary negotiation. Scholarships and Tuition

@WashULaw has financial aid options to help with tuition costs. Tuition payments are broken down by term.

Tuition for the Master of Legal Studies, the Master of Legal Studies in Taxation, the Master of Laws in Taxation and the Master of Laws in U.S. Law programs for the 2022–23 academic year is US$2,687 per credit.

There are a few financial aid options for @WashULaw students. You can begin by downloading the @WashULaw Federal Student Aid Checklist. You can also take the following additional steps:

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The Washington University in St. Louis school code is 002520.
  • Apply for PLUS loans to gain additional funding through the Department of Education or alternative loans from various private lenders.
  • Contact your Admissions Counselor to see if there are any scholarship opportunities. Scholarships are currently available for qualified students.
