Professor Alan Pratzel was appointed by the Supreme Court of Missouri as Chief Disciplinary Counsel in 2007. In that position, Mr. Pratzel oversaw the attorney discipline system in Missouri and was responsible for the investigation and disposition of ethics complaints against lawyers in the state. Mr. Pratzel has worked in the area of ethics and professional responsibility for 30 years.
